For years, Jerommie Smith searched for a watch that could keep pace with his work. As a Chicago police officer, he needed something tougher than most.

Time and again, he was disappointed by watches that broke down, scuffed up, and cracked under pressure. And so he set about crafting the answer himself

Jerommie is an engineer at heart who loves to build. And so he took the time to learn the craftsmanship of watch making. He has designed and made thousand of watches. And with each watch, he learned a little more about making a durable, tough watch that could last a lifetime. Smith & Bradley was born of his expertise and desire for a better watch on the market.
